A great book to read

Last weekend I had a lot of free time so I read the book "Moja walka o każdy metr" by Thomas Morgenstern.

The ski jumper describes his emotions after the fall on a ski jump. His participation in the championship stood under the question mark. Will Thomas fulfill his dream? It is very emotional book, which teaches us to never give up. I read this book for the third time but it is still interesting. I recommend it to everyone

My favourite bands...

  I have had a lot of free time lately and I through about certain thing. Many people (especially in Europe) have negative attitude towards K-pop. But why? I think it’s because they believe that this music genre isn’t irrelevant because it’s popular in Asia mainly. Everybody knows that things from Far East are rather strange to people from Europe or America. It’s obvious that majority hardly accept music or movies in different languages than english. Sometimes language barriers are the only reason to criticize k-pop. I think that everybody should get to know some songs before they will judge this music genre. There are many artists who deserve credit beyond Asia.

  One of them is my favourite band - BTS (also known as Bangtan Sonyeondan or Beyond the Scene). BTS consists of seven members. They debuted on 12 June in 2013 with the song ‘No more dream’. This band was formed by small record label – Big Hit Entertainment and because of this, they had little chance to pot popularity. They work extremely hard to improve their vocals and dance. Their choreographies are so powerful and deserve publicity.

   Next band who deserves attention is Twice. I rarely listen to girlsbands but this one is pretty cool. Twice is rather specific because it was formed to content Korean’s taste. People from Asia enjoy really cute, cliched and sometimes even childlish things so they like this band very much. Even if it’s hard to accustom to their songs, girls from Twice are really musically gifted.

   I mentioned only two bands but there are many good korean artists who deserves attention not only from Asians but from other people around the world as well.
