Victory!

Hi everyone!

About two weeks ago my class went on this amazing trip abroad. Even though I couldn’t go on the trip with them, that week was everything but boring...

I went with my orchestra for the competition “Golden Sardana” in Lloret de Mar, Spain.

It was a really long bus ride – about 35 hours one way. We arrived there on Tuesday. The competition took place on Thursday so we had some free time and also we practiced a lot for it. The competition was in two parts – stage performance and parade. During the announcement of results on Saturday everyone was really excited. Everyone impatiently waited for the results. Out of 8 orchestras from Poland, Czech Republic and Malaysia we got first place in all parts of the competition. We obviously were really happy with the results and could go back to Poland with these amazing results.

A marvellous adventure.

Two weeks ago I started the greatest school trip of my life. We travelled to Berlin, Paris and Dresden(furthermore we slept in Frankfurt), although I believe that the best of all of this cities were Paris and Dresden. The artists' hill - Montmartre in Paris - has the vibes of romanticism and calmness as the Pacific ocean in the golden hour. The early evening view from the mountain with Basilique Sacre-Coeur behind me was one of the best experiences in my life. My second favourite place on this tour was Dresden's old town. It has very dark, medieval mood with stunning baroque buildings. They were really outstanding in comparision to the shining, broad river - Elbe - while it was in the colour of the stormy sky.

I will surely remember that trip for a very long time!
Thanks for reading my blog! Cheers!!!

A miracle of nature

I was travelling for a very long time and I have seen a lot of beautiful places. Like a month ago I decided to buy a ticket for a flight to Ireland and i had so much luck because the weather was very good. I was planning to visit the Cliffs of Moher and I was very excited to see them. To get to the cliffs I had to pay 12 euro but let’s be honest, this view was worth all the money. 14 kilometers long, 214 meters at the highest point and the view over the Atlantic Ocean. Absolutely stunning! I took a lot of pictures and I’ll definitely put them in my travel journal when I come back.

Have a nice day and remember, travelling is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.

My passion

My Passion is baking, I really love it. I began baking when I was six years old. My grandma taught me how to prepare cookies and cakes. When I make cookies or a cake or pie for my family I am happy so much that I do it every week.

Last week, I was baking carrot cake with my friend Zuzia. We choose this cake because we had never eatan it before. That was a great decision because the carrot cake was fantastic!

Maybe someday you will try to make a carrot cake, I deffinatelly reccomend it!

Saving the planet

Hi everyone! Today I’d like to tell you about taking care of the environment- why is it

worth and how to do it.

I’m writing this post because I’m worried about our future. Did

you know that global warming is the falut of people who don’t care about the

environment and don’t want to change anything in their habbits?

Why should you?

Nature, air, water, trees are the basic things in our live. We wouldn’t exist without

them. Unfortunately, we have less and less of them because of humans who destroy

our planet because of their behaviour. If we still don’t change our attitude, we will eventually run out

of clean water, fresh, unpolluted air and everything that is green and alive.

And it will happen very soon!

So, the question is, what can we do ?? and how to do it?

1. Save water. Take shorter showers, don't waste it.

2. Don’t buy plastic bags, use the ones that are made of fabric and are easly biodegradable.

3. Segregate rubbish. Yellow, green, blue container - remember!

4. Buy in second-hand shops,

5. Give your old things a second life.

That’s all for today, thanks for reading. Don’t forget to leave a comment. Bye!

Be fit – be happy!

Hello everyone. I’d like to talk with you all about sports. I know it may sound ridiculous, but everyone, who can, should play sports or participate in PE. It’s hard to convince yourself to practice on lessons, but it’s worth it. If you train, you’ll be fitter and you’ll feel better! Also, if you’re participating in PE lessons, you can also relax your brain and train your muscles. I know it sounds weird, but once you try, you want to do it more and more! I tried and I feel much better and have thinking, like: “Oh, I have PE after this lesson, I can play different sport games now! I’m so happy!”

P.S   And that was the blog “How to be healthy and also happy”

My recent journey

Hi!

A week after returning from Rome, I went to London. I must admit that I have wanted to visit this city for a long time, especially after the death of Queen Elizabeth II. A funny thing happened when I was ordering tickets. Two days before the trip I was buying tickets and it turned out that I bought two by accident and I was surprised that it cost me so much. After a two-hour journey, we landed. London looked like something out of a book. Misty and unpleasant. We started our tour at Buckingham Palace. It was really huge. The highlight of the program turned out to be Diagon Alley. There I found the missing books from my collection at much better prices than in a bookstore or on the Internet. Finally, we stayed for a cricket match.

Magical cafe

 Hello everyone!

I wanted to share a beautiful place with you - a café.
Last holiday, I was in Zakopane. On day one I was at the pond called Sea Eye. The Second day,  my family and I were in Valley of five Ponds. The third day was beautiful. In the morning we went to the centre of Zakopane. We had very good ice cream which recipe hasn’t changed for 100 years. The ice cream was really delicious. I saw a beautiful white bear with which I had a fantastic photo. When I went to the café, I thought that the café would be boring and ordinary. It was a mistake. The café was very interesting and I was surprised by the view! It was absolutely fantastic because the café was located on the 4th floor of a building. It had a big, new deck where we could see the Polish Tatra Mountains. The view is breathtaking. You must see it!

Have a nice night or have a nice day depending on when you read this :)

A great place to eat

Hi guys. It’s been quite a while, since I’ve written here, but I was busy. I want to tell you about something big.

Recently, I discovered a new restaurant in my neighbourhood.

Namely, an italian restaurant! Can you belive it?

I have never heard about this place and I was thrilled, about trying new food.

My family and I went to this restaurant last Sunday.

I ordered lasagna and typical Italian dessert, but I didn’t expect such a delicious meal.

It tasted so well and I could feeel every single taste of  the ingeredients. It was not only good food, but also very nice service. The waiters were really kind and communicative. I couldn’t stop smiling at them.

I obviously recommend this restaurant  and you have to visit this place.

You can  let me know about less famous restaurants nearby, cause I’m so  willing to find  out new places, like this!

Take care

The most difficult piano piece

Dear Readers !

I want to tell you about one of the most difficult music pieces ever written for piano solo: "Morceaux de fantasie Prelude " opus 3/2 ( also known as  "The Bells of Moscow") composed by Sergei Vasilyevich Rachmaninoff in 1892. The composition is four page long in music sheets transcription and it takes aroud four minutes to play and a lot longer to learn how to play it...

It was composed in the grim C - sharp minor tonality in an even meter. The prelude has ternary form (ABA)- is organized into three main parts

*The first movement - Lento (at a slow tempo) begins with a three-note motif played fortissimo, which puts us in the mood of the piece, then in the third bar the volume changes to piano pianissimo to expose the theme;

*The second movement is market as Agitato ( in a restless and agitated manner )it begins with chromatic triplets that pasionately builds to interlocking chord triplets that descend into  climatic recapitulation of the main theme;

*The last part of the works, the motifs from the first part reappear and a coda (ending)- seven bar ending that end quietly.

The difficulty of this piece written by this well-known to everyone Russian composer is wide-ranging and it mainly concerns advanced technical requirements - "a sea of octaves" for the right and left hand to be played in the first and last part of the work in the form of consecutive eigth notes interspersed with an octal band and the discrepancy of the dinamics and articulation (from piano pianissmo to forte fortissimo or contrary )- it's hard to keep right dinamic with playing extremly wide, massive chords at the same time, therefore it is really important to have a great coordination, flexibility and strenght in both hands in order to play correctly; also the difficulty of the interpretation -"Morceaux de fantasie Prelude " opus 3/2 conatin very deep, hard to define emotions such as sorrow, anger or pride - overall negative/melancholic emotion that can be closely connected with lifestory of the composer who had been suffering from depression , so every one can see something different in this composition.

"The Bells of Moscow" is a wide-ranging and difficult composition with incomprehensible message hidden through it by the Rachmaninoff.
I recommend listening to Rachmaninoff's music, not only to the piece I shared with you, but also to other masterpieces like "Vocalise", "Prelude in G minor", "Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini", "Piano concerto no.2", "Piano concerto No. 3", "Isle of the dead" or "Polka Italienne".

I hope I caught your attention and made you feel interested in the topic.

Have a nice day.

An unexpected discovery

 Hello everyone!

A lot of us don't like books. I also used to hate books, they were boring to me and thought I was too stupid to read a book. Two years ago, I got a book by Nicholas Sparks, "The Notebook". I was so hooked on the book that I read the entire volume within 3 days! Now, I do not part with Sparks' books. Their storyline is extremely interesting and addictive. I never thought you could cry while reading a book. When you have free time, pick one of Sparks' bestsellers!

Have a nice night or have a nice day depending on when you read this:)

A great app!

Hello all!

I would like to share with you an application that makes it easier for me to learn English. It is not as ordinary and boring as the rest. It is made in an extremely humorous way. We learn English based on excerpts from movies that almost everyone has seen at least once in their life! Of course, the funniest scenes. I recommend "Ewa" application to everyone. Certainly, it will make your English learning more pleasant.

Kisses and hugs.

A trip to London

Last year, I went to London for a week. It made a big impression on me! The hotel, I lived in, was next to Hyde Park which is the main park in central London and the largest of four royal parks! I started sightseeing from Tower Bridge and London Eye.  Did you know Tower Bridge is a drawbridge? In the tower there is a British state crown that is richly decorated. In the crown there is the world's largest diamond, donated by Queen Victoria! Later, I went to the place of  Anna Boleyn's execution. She was the second wife (out of six) of King Henry VIII. I also walked next to Big Ben and Buckingam Palace. I also had the opportunity to visit the famous Wembley stadium along with all the facilities, cloakrooms, etc. London is definitely the place I would like to come back to in the future. Unforgettable moments will remain for a long time in my memory...

Have you ever been to London? What did you like the most?

Do sport!

Hi everyone!

I’m writing this post to tell you that sport is healthy.

I think that everyone should do sports. We can do athletics, play football, volleyball or do any other physical activity that we enjoy. It’s important to do anything!

I don’t know about you but I love cheering up Polish football, volleyball or handball teams. During the match I believe that the Polish team will win.

There’s also one more thing I want to mention.  I don’t know if you are aware of this but taking up sport and physical exercises improves the stamina and also builds up muscles!

Healthy food has an influence on our body and it helps in training too.

I’d like to hear from you about your ideas on how healthy the sport is.

Remember! All the champions used to be beginners when they started. If you want to be one, start now. Do sport!

Take care of your pets!

Hi there ,

I would like to put my first post on this blog today. I would like to encourage you to buy pets. In my house I have a dog, fish, crabs and a tarantula. Yes, I have a tarantula at home. It is not as scary as it seems. I feed him once a week. It grows up to 5 cm in body and it is 10 cm in total. 30x30x30cm terrarium is enough. I'd like to encourage you to go shopping for exotic pets. I plan to buy a snake soon.

Don’t forget to leave a comment!

How to have fun last days of school?

The end of the school year brings drastic changes to a student's social life; close friends may be leaving for the summer, permanently moving, or switching schools. Here are a few ideas to make the most of your last day of school.

1  Make plans with your friends. Gather your closest pals and make plans for some fun activities before the finish of the school year. You could all do something wild! Here are some suggestions for activities to do on the final day to make it truly unique.

- During class, break out a song.

- Wear something special to your friendship group.

- During free time, create a collaborative painting.

2  Have a productive morning.  A good day is usually the result of a well-planned morning. Try to finish one or more of the task before the end of the school year:

- Set an alarm clock the night before.

- Take a bath.

- Eat a healthy breakfast.

- Put on a beautiful, lively, outfit.

- If you like to do your hair, try out a fresh or unusual style on this day.

3  Have a good time in school. It's the last day of classes, and you may not see some of your classmates or teachers again for along time. Don't be scared to let your hair down, have a good time, and express yourself.

- Any conflicts between friends or teachers should be resolved.

- Keep a positive attitude in all of your classes.

- Dance if you're in the mood! Sing if you're in the mood!

4  Say goodbye to all of your friends. Apologize to everyone, specially your rivals and teachers. You don't want to spend the rest of your life feeling bad about a minor fight, do you?  It will also make people happy.

- You'll make other person happy if you're kind. Don't whine, complain, be disrespectful, or get annoyed. Others may be offended by it.

- Give your friends a huge hug goodbye and tell them why they're so important to you. Don't be surprised if there are a few tears shed.

- If you're upset about leaving your school and classmates, keep your spirits up. Things move on, and you might run across them sooner than you expect.

5  Enjoy your summer break. Grab your bag and make a furious dash out of the building when the final bell rings! Enjoy the benefits of your summer vacation by reading a few books.

A really nice experience.

 Hi everyone!

I’m writing this post to tell you about my trip to Kraków.

It’s the most wonderful place I’ve ever been to. It’s the capital city of the Poland. There are many tourist attractions like Wawel, Sukiennice or Renaissance marketplace.
I realy liked watching the historical buildings and learning their story. Architecture is my passion so that visit was a pleasure.

My trip took place a week ago. I was there with my friend Konrad. In Kraków we spent three days. During the day we visited meseums, restaurants and other attractions. We even saw Wawel's Dragon!

In the Wawel we were impressed by the beautiful chambers and garden. In the evening we went to a Bastille concert. It is our favourite band. It was awesome. I will remember it for a long time. We were also shopping in Krakow's largest shopping center!

I totally recommend visiting this beautiful city.

That’s all for today. I’m looking forward to your comments.

How it all started...

Coronavirus outbreak and global crisis 2020.

How did it happen so fast that world is not developing anymore and everything stopped?

...Well it's linked to the new virus that is zoonotic and started  autumn 2019 in China.

It all started in Wuhan city. Although the virus genes were very weak at the beginning,

they slowly started infecting people.

The highest disease outbreak was just about to start.

When the Chinese lunar year began, the virus had very easy access to rise infection rate.

Then the WHO took over the case.

It has not passed many days when the disease started spreading so much that the Chinese

Government started to build a huge Isolation ward.

It was already too late to stop COVID-19 spreading rate.

It took no more than a few weeks for the virus to spread across the globe.

Initially, none of the countries were worried about it and took it seriously enoght, however, it all changed overtime.

Now the disease is in almost every country on Earth.

Its infection and death rate has risen very fast from beginning .

The virus developed a new mutations that are far more deadly than the previous one that started in China…..

It will be remembered by next generations.
