One of our teachers organized a trip to Warsaw. Everyone eagerly waited for the trip.
The day has finally come. The weather was beautiful. The Sun was shining all day long. The journey by the coach was long and tiring. In the end we got there. The Palace of Culture and Science was within a reach.
We found some inexpensive cottages to stay in. After a short rest with lunch, we started our tour of Warsaw. First, we visited the Warsaw zoo; there were lots of animals of different species. Later, we went to Okęcie International Airport. We watched the planes, we got to know the history of some of the models, and we learned what it's like to work at the airport.
We came back very late. All tired, fell asleep quickly.
The next day we started at the Powązki Cemetery. We saw the graves of manyfamous people.
After a short break for a meal, we went to the Palace of Culture and Science, built in the center of Warsaw in the years 1952-1955. We took a lift to the highest floor from which you can admire the magnificent panorama of Warsaw. In the evening everyone was very tired, so we went to the nightshelters where the teacher organised a disco for us and we all had a great time.
The day after that went very quietly. We visited the oldcity and "Łazienki". We walked in small groups, not to get lost in the crowd and everyone listened to the teacher's commands very carefully.
After coming back home, me and my friends told our parents about the beautiful city and its monuments, we also showed them souvenirs that w
e brought in this beautiful city.
