Surprising Gateway  part 2

 After 10 hours of flying we got to our accommodation. It was a very decent apartment. Because we were tired, we went to sleep. In the morning, we agreed to split because we didn’t know each other well. And so we did.

 After eating delicious meal and buying a lot of souvenirs I got back to the apartment. There I saw Drake and Jason wondering about something.  “Jason bought a coat, but what is weird is that the left pocket is stitched and something is in there”.  So Drake decided to see what there was inside and he pulled out a piece of paper. It was a map, something was marked on it and not seeing the reason against it, we agreed to check it out. So we packed our stuff and were ready for a treasure hunt.

After one hour of walking Drake and I couldn’t find Jason anywhere, but then we heard someone calling my name. It was our magician who fell into the hole and found a silver necklace. After that, we were so exhausted that we stopped and sat down under the trees. When I was about to eat my sandwich we heard voices. This really was getting creepy because we were in the middle of nowhere, there was not a single soul out there.

We spent two more hours walking and this was getting suspicious. No human, not even an animal - just us. Suddenly, we saw a lady. When we got near her I got a better look. She was probably in her late 70s. What surprised us, was her, speaking English and telling us to give back her necklace. Another suspicious ting. How did she know we had found something? Either way, we gave back the jewellery and also asked about the mark on the map. “Oh! You are almost there” she told us. Three minutes later in the forest we saw a camp. A group of people was sitting in a circle talking to each other. “You know what?” told Jason “It was just a coincidence and I’m very tired so I’m going to join them” .We ignored this weird feeling we had and also agreed to spend time with them.

After a couple of hours I could say THE BEST GETAWAY EVER!
